Inside Liftruck: Lewis and Hayley Reflect on 2025
We wanted to pause as we enter 2026 to reflect on what made 2025 so special for Liftruck UK. This year has been full of learning, progress, and lots of development both within the business and within the team.
I sat down with Hayley for a quick Q&A to recap the year’s highlights, challenges, and what we’re taking into 2026.
What Personal or Professional Growth Are You Most Proud Of This Year?
Lewis:
2025 was a year of building confidence and consistency across the business. There was a clear focus on making informed product decisions, strengthening supplier partnerships, and refining how Liftruck presents itself online. Developing long-term, reliable relationships with both suppliers and customers remained a priority throughout the year.
These relationships are built through clear communication, reliability, and consistently delivering on expectations. Seeing that trust grow and translate into stronger collaboration and repeat business has been one of the most rewarding outcomes of the year.
Hayley:
My efforts paid off as I finished my apprenticeship with distinction. Now that I'm using all I've learned in my work at Liftruck and putting all my energy back into it, it feels fantastic. My ability to organise, communicate, and oversee tasks has significantly improved as a result of the new skills I've acquired.
What Was Your Favourite Product Of The Year?
Lewis:
It has to be our Stainless Steel Hand Pallet Truck. It’s clean, sleek, and purpose-built for environments where hygiene and durability really matter. From food production to pharmaceutical use, it’s one of those products that just makes sense.
It looks the part, performs exactly as expected, and has been consistently well-received by customers, which is always a good sign you’re backing the right product.
Hayley:
I would say our newer product ranges brought so much to the table this year. I especially love our extra-long pallet trucks that really took off. Customers handling large or awkward loads have benefited hugely from them, and it’s been great to see how many positive comments they’ve received.
What Was Your Biggest Challenge or ‘Low’ Of The Year?
Lewis:
Answering these questions.
On a more serious note, the biggest challenge was finding time to step back and reflect properly while everything else was moving at full speed. When the business is busy, it’s easy to focus only on what’s next rather than what’s already been achieved.
Hayley:
Knowing when to take a break and look after myself was the hardest part of the year. I’ve faced some personal challenges that made working difficult at times.
Taking mental breaks and allowing yourself to step away, recharge, and return refreshed is something that really stood out to me this year.
Funniest or Most Memorable Moment Of The Year?
Lewis:
The Acclaim day out “watching” Erith & Belvedere play against Whitstable Town. I say “watching” loosely, as most of the time was spent propping up the bar and having a laugh, followed by a meal out and more drinks in the famous Volunteer. Say no more.
Hayley:

What’s One Thing You’re Taking Into 2026?
Lewis:
My PC… before the building gets knocked down.
For context, we’re temporarily relocating offices while a brand-new building is constructed. On a more serious note, I’m taking a stronger focus on adaptability into 2026. Change is clearly part of the journey, and being able to roll with it, whether that’s office moves, new systems, or new opportunities, is something I’m embracing more than ever.
Hayley:
I’m heading into 2026 feeling more composed. I’ve moved away from Post-it notes and started using proper to-do lists, tackling one task at a time.
I can now respond to customer enquiries more quickly and effectively, and it has already made everything feel far less chaotic.
